I am a little bit late for harvest Monday, but better late than never right!!
For the week of July 9-15th I was able to harvest a little
bit more than the 5.2oz the week before. I am still quite behind my totals for
last year, but the garden is about 3 weeks behind so let’s hope it starts to
catch up soon
I pulled the remainder or my radishes which equaled 5.26lbs.
they had a bit of bug damage, but for the most part they were better than last
year.
I also had my first cut of lettuce at 9.7oz
The spinach is a little bit behind since out of the 2 rows I plants only 3 plants came up. The plants that came up they had quite a bit of hail/wind damage. I took a few leaves and ended up with 1.8oz
Weekly total 5.98lbs or 2.713kg
Grand total to date 6.31lbs or 2.863kg
Radish 5.2 or 147g
Basil .1oz or 2g
Radish 5.26 lbs or 2.39kg
Lettuce 9.7oz 275g
Spinach 1.8 oz or 51g

My hubby would be stealing those radishes if he could.......mine are done and with this heat, I don't know if I dare try replanting.
ReplyDeleteI never seem to grow a good crop of radishes. Either they are bug infested and runty - or they bolt to seed. I don't know why I even bother sometimes. That makes me appreciate all the more that nice big bowl of radishes. Good work!
ReplyDeleteI ate the last of my radishes a couple of weeks ago. Luckily they keep well in the fridge since mine came in all at once.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a pretty good harvest to me! The radishes look great. We totally failed with radishes this year. I got them in too late and they bolted before the roots sized up! :(
ReplyDeletewhat will you do with 5 pounds of radishes? But they sure look good; been too hot here for radishes and greens besides chard.
ReplyDeleteWe miss our lettuce and spinach. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYour radishes look yummy. I may have to try them next season.
