I'm back
After two weeks of living in a hotel, sleeping in a horrible bed, eating out or eating meals I could cook in the microwave, lot of trips to the Clinic, staying in a city hit by the worst flood in their history and living through their state of emergency....I am FINALLY HOME!!!
I was so happy to get home last night that I cried, it was a hard two weeks and an easy two weeks I guess. However, being away from home when it isn't for a holiday is rather hard. Especially when it rains every day and you are stuck inside. I did have my sewing machine so for the 1st week alone I was able to be productive. The 2nd week was when the procedure took place and Mr.P joined me. I wasn't able to do all the hiking he wanted to do and well the rain and flooding didn't allow us to do much more than walk though shopping malls and sleep..lol
The house was still standing when we arrived and nothing appeared to be out of sorts so that is always good. The garden really grew as did all my flower pots. Its just all so lush that it was overwhelming!!
I still cannot do much of anything for the next two weeks on Dr's orders, which is depressing, but worth it in the end if everything works out. So today I am just going to take it easy, try to get the house back in to order with out over doing it and just relax.
I will be posting pic of the garden/yard tomorrow.
