Pinterest tryouts week #1
I like many of you out there use Pinterest. I love pinning, but I'm bad at not actually using anything I have pinned. So another 2016 goal is to use one pinned item a week from one of the categories I have created. While doing this I will also organize my categories as well. This week I'm taking a look at projects I would like to make. This folder was the first one a created and was kind of all over the place. It had everything i it from apples to quilting. I moved 40 pins into different folders.
The project I am going to make/ use as inspiration is

If you have been following my Work in Progress Reports I haven't gotten too far. Just have the fabric cut and the batting cut. I am hoping to get it done this week if I can remember to get Mr.P to help me get my chair free!! I'm not doing anything too fancy just one piece for the front and a second for the back. This "placemat" will be sitting under our espresso machine so no one will really be seeing it, but it's better than the plastic I have under it now!
Next week I will be trying out something from my next board "Holiday Crafts" Should be interesting I have no idea what is all in there.

That's a great idea - I hadn't thought of using Pinterest as a place for organizing projects. So far I have mainly used it for landscaping and plant ideas - I'll have to expand on that!
