Christmas QAL April Edition
Today is the April edition of the 2012 Christmas quilt-a-long.
Our lovely host for the day is Lesley over at http://lesleythecuddlequilter.blogspot.ca She is even having a giveaway today. Which makes today even more exciting!
I am sooo excited to see what the next part of our Mystery quilt is going to look like. Sue is pretty darn talented so I know it is going to look amazing, but I the suspense is killing me....Just like waiting to open Christmas Presents....LOL
I am linking up today, but I don't know how much sewing I will be able to get done today since we have plans. Gesh don't people know that today is the Christmas QAL!!!! I hope you still go on over to to check out what everyone else is going to be be up to.
I thought I would just leave you with some of the Christmas projects that I would like to get done this year during our Christmas QAL.
1. Finish the soap bottle aprons that I started last year. I think I have 3 left to do
2. I would like finish my Christmas Log Cabin Quilt
3. Make a snowman mini that I had a dream about...LOL It true though..lol
4. Make a tree skirt
5.Make a Santa mini
6.Make a table cloth
And that is where I am going to stop now before I start to go into Christmas Panic Mode in APRIL!!!
I hope you all have a very MERRY DAY!
Why do you want so many soap bottle aprons, I wonder?
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have you join us and share the news about the Christmas Quiltalong! I love making lists, and yours sounds very interesting! Enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to read that someone else designs quilts in their dreams! I was starting to worry about me. I love making a list and I have one going all the time.
ReplyDeleteI'm a list maker too - not that everything on the list always gets done!
ReplyDeleteCrikey, do you mean that not everyone dreams about quilt designs?
ReplyDeleteAs for other people messing up your plans cos they don't seem to realise it's Christmas QAL day, well, have you looked at how my day got totally derailed???
You have quite a list! Take it in small steps. Lovely to have you with us.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot to do in the next six or seven months! I had company today too but got a small amount of sewing done. Hooray!
ReplyDeleteFortunatley my company came late in the afternoon and then again in the evening, by which time I was done sewing. Hope you had a good day and managed to sneak a stitch or two!
ReplyDeleteA list that long would send me off to bed to recover. Hope you made good progress. Happy quilting.
