Darn it!

On friday night the local weather announcers informed us that there was a storm a brewing on the coast of B.C that would and should be heading right for us here in Saskatchewan. This storm was going to bring 10-15cm of snow and cooler temps that would likely mean the snow was going to be here to stay.
Now I don't have enough fingers or toes to count the number of times I have heard news like that for things to change and the weather doesn't quite end up as they predicted......However, this time they were right...... DARN IT.
It started with rain Sunday morning about 3am and  luckliy for us in this area it only started to turn to snow by 6pm. Nonetheless as not to be left out we got dumped on too...so
HELLO WINTER for the next 6 months....LOL
I thought this pic would look artsy because of the ice crystal in the door window.....but nope..LOL

Have a great day

  2. Yes, Mrs. P. You just keep all that snow up north. I don't want it down here! I'm having enough trouble just keeping up with my wind mess, I don't need cold, wet, soggy leaves!

  4. I said the same thing "hello winter" when we got our first severe storm warning on Saturday. Is it too soon to be ready for summer?

  8. :) Hey now. My place looks just like that! (Well, it did for hours this morning. Luckily, even at 8500Ft in altitude, there is plenty of sun to melt it off regardless of temps.) Today was fair dismal and cold though. Chip up!
