WIP 06/12/13

Today’s Work In Progress report comes to you from inside a Hotel in Calgary..lol I have to be here for a medical procedure so along with my laptop I brought my sewing machine to help pass the time between appointments.

As Always I am linking up with WIP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced and @The Needle and Thread Network.  Make sure you hop on over there and see what everyone else is working on too.

My June to do list

July 2011 BOM- I have made some progress, but forgot to take a pic!
Chickens
Paint box blocks

Completed projects for June
We bee Learning-Granny squares for Jane- I plant on making 4. Jane who also happens to be my mother asked for bright blocks in whatever colours we wanted. I just grabbed a few handfuls of fabric when I left, so I hope these will go with the rest that she gets. Either way they are for my Mom...so they will be okay..lol

Don't you love the hotel carpet!

  1. I love those grannys too. I must say taking your sewing machine with you is such a fabulous idea:) I hate sitting around hotel rooms specially at night with nothing to do.

  7. I have never heard of taking the sewing machine along...what a great idea, assuming you have a small/lightweight one to carry! Love it! I always take knitting. I hope the procedure goes well and you are safely on your way home again soon.
