WIP 16/05/12
Well I must say, I seem to have a reoccurring theme going on this month
of saying that I haven’t done much sewing. I guess I have a good excuse, but I
must admit with everyday I am not able to sew something I am slowly not wanting
to sew anything either. I am sure once I start again I won’t be able to
stop...lol I was able to cross one item off my list so at least its something!
Today I am linking up with WIP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced and @The Needle and Thread Network. Make sure you hop on over there and see what everyone else is working on too.

lovely colour in you quilt block...thanks for stopping by to comment. appreciate it.
ReplyDelete"Slow but steady wins the race", right? Looks like you have a lot to do and a lot done!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that star flower. I have to make one for me!
ReplyDeleteGreat Starflower block! I find that if I sew a little each day, it helps me get through the "blocks".
ReplyDeleteSometimes keeping with your monthly blocks is enough. Especially as the year gets busier with other things. I love that starflower block, will make someone a beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteThe starflower is nice. You'll get there bit by bit!
ReplyDeleteOh, you will get back in the sewing room but in the meantime you are gathering ideas which will show up in your projects! Sometimes we just need to refocus! Love your star and I clicked on your flikr photos and enjoyed your creations!
ReplyDeleteWell you managed to cross some things off your to-do list, which is more than I seem to have done for the last couple of weeks or so.
ReplyDeleteI love that star, it is a block that always makes me smile. I am thinking you must be having a lot of time in the garden and that you will get back to more sewing eventually.
ReplyDeleteGreat block...
ReplyDeleteAnd I am in a similar pickle as you, I seem to be unable to motivate myself to sew anything, so yesterday, I grabbed my scrappy bits box and started to cut 3.5 inch squares and set a goal -- 1000 squares by the weekend!
Pegsplace-thank you for stopping by and for the lovely comments :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous star block! Love the colours so much.
ReplyDeleteThe rainbow star is very nice! It will make a stunning quilt.
ReplyDeleteOur Canadian climate practically forces us into binge-living: during winter lots of sewing etc. and then in summer taking care of all the outdoor work and trying to soak up some sun. I sometimes trick myself into sewing during summer by telling myself that I'll only garden 'til autumn. Sometimes that works, and sometimes I can't scare myself. :-)

ReplyDeleteOne day I think I need to organize my thoughts like this! You do so well! Keep going your almost there!! hehe! Kind of!
ReplyDeleteI love that block!
ReplyDeleteI always see so many neat projects as I make my way through the linky each week.
Do you have a pattern for that block?
I printed a picture of the block. If you could share with me the size of the corner pieces and the size needed for the half triangles, I would appreciate it! Thanks!
ReplyDeletePretty Starflower! You sure have a lot on-the-go.
