This week was a great week for harvesting! 

I am linking up with Harvest Monday’s over at Daphne’s Dandelions. So go on over and see what other people are harvesting today!

The totals I have listed are the weekly totals. I harvested a little over the week and then had a big ole harvest on Sunday. So the pictures may be a little confusing...lol

This was my big harvest on Sunday. 

Green Beans 2.083kg 

This sucker weighed in at 2.062kg which is 4.5lbs. I have been checking everyday for zucchini and couldn't find anything...yesterday I found MONSTERS...LOL

Lettuce 1.328 kg ( Spinach in the bags)

Weekly total 29.034kg or 64lbs

So there you go that was my lovely harvest for the week!! I knew I had harvested A LOT, but I didn’t think I was going to break 100lbs for the grand total. YAHOO....now only 900 more pounds to go to reach my goal!

  6. What a whopper of a cabbage and your cauliflowers look way better than any I've seen at the supermarket. I'm really taken with the kohlrabi...are they easy to cultivate? I want to try growing the green/white type next year but am researching which one is best (tasting and disease resistant-wise).

  9. I would LOVE to raid your garden...beans, cauliflower, kohlrabi...if only I knew where you lived! lol Everything looks wonderfully yummy! You will hit that 1000 pounds in no time!

  11. Lovely harvests! That's one HUGE cabbage! Is your cabbage really 6.5 kgs? Or did you have more cabbage(not pictured)? What is your trick to growing such lovely spinach? I have a hard time growing them here....

  14. Great harvest. I am waiting for my cabbage. They are new to me this year and they are conical which I have never had before so sound be interesting.

    100 lbs is a lot for a week.

    RandomGardener-That is my weekly total for all 4 cabbage I picked. The largest one was 4.5lbs. Sorry No trick to growing spinach I just plant it and it comes up.

    Trina-if only you didn't know where I lived....LOL

    Rowena- I plant white Vienna and purple Vienna kohlrabi. They seem to do well for me. however they are the only ones I have ever tried! Very easy to grow and harvest

  16. Wow! Wow! Wow! I've never grown a cauliflower head like that. Please reveal your secrets. What variety did you use? And all the other stuff you've grown. It all looks so healthy and so happy!
