WIP Wednesday 21/03/2012

I didn’t get too much done this week it has less to do with me not  getting my butt in gear and more to do with the fact that  I got some potentially life changing news from the Dr which really made everything else seem worthless. Nonetheless, the power was out from 11am till 9pm on Monday and since there was nothing else I could really do in the house I decided to cut up fabric for all the blocks I want to make.  I only got 3 blocks cut out before Mr. Pickles came home for lunch (we made soup on the BBQ a long with hotdogs...lol) To make things even more interesting the internet decided that it would not work on Tuesday so that left me even more time in the sewing room, but I spent it cleaning instead of sewing. So long story short I don’t have a lot to show for WIP Wednesdays.

Today I am linking up with WIP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced and @The Needle and Thread Network.  Make sure you hop on over there and see what everyone else is working on too.

  7. I found a great tutorial on Eleanor Burn's Quilt in a Day site for flying geese. It's a fabulous method that's not quite as well known as it should be.

Sorry about your news from the Dr. I hope it's something that will become less important with time.
